The Surf Shack was opened in 2001 and has been
family owned and operated ever since. Its continued
growth is a testament to the hardworking staff and
loyalty of its valued customers. We are dedicated at
the shack to serve our customers and our community
through our programs that are geared towards
safety, progression, and increased enjoyment of the
island lifestyle.  We are also proud to offer the

This summer the Surf Shack will be
teaming up with a number of small local
surf companies to co op our 2008 line of
Surf Shack t-shirts. Our first of this
series was done with long time friend
and promising young island artist John
West. John’s board art can be seen on
countless number of our state’s best
young rippers including Pete Machotka,
Rob Kelly and some of the island’s
surfing icons such as Bill Willem and
Kevin Cook. Having a close relationship
with the Shack since its opening, John
puts a Surf Shack/ JWest design
signature and a hand drawn shack on all
of the team member’s boards. We have
taken this signature Shack and put it on
our new t-shirt. It is a limited edition
release so come scoop it up in either
purple/green, army/orange, or
black/white before they are all gone
forever.
